Aliki is one of the most picturesque seaside villages in southern part of Paros and it took its name from the salt-marsh (in greek: aliki). The port with fishing boats, the good quality restaurants and the sandy beaches make Aliki a dreamy destination for families and couples. The visitors coming to Aliki experience the hospitality, beauty and calmeness of Cyclades. Within minutes by foot you can swim in Aliki, Agios Nikolaos or Piso Aliki beach with its deep blue waters, pebbles and salt cedars.

There are plenty of other beaches close to our village that you can go by car or motorbike.

Faragkas (5 min drive)

Faragkas and its four beautiful bays is one of the most famous beaches in south Paros. There is a big bay that has a beach bar and sitting area and 3 bays at the right which are the more private ones. It is known for its clystar clear water and gold sand. The location is perfect, as it calms down the north winds that are very common in the summer months in the islands.

Voutakos (9 min) & Makria Miti (7 min drive)

In Voutakos and Makria Miti you have to park your car and walk a little bit, so these beaches are kind of private and only local people know about them. Both are suitable for those looking for a secluded, quiet beach. Make sure you bring along everything you might need during your day there. From Boutakos you can see Antiparos island and from Makria Miti Ios and Panteronisia.

Golden beach (20 min drive)

Golden beach or Chrissi Akti in Greek, is a huge sandy beach with blue waters and a view of the island of Drionissi, a small island to the south-east of Paros. It is an organized beach with many water sport schools:

  1. -sunwind
  2. -paros windsurf center
  3. -golden beach surf club.

The visitors who do not love windsurfing, should avoid coming to this beach when it is windy, however the beach is ideal for those who long for the wind in order to cleave the waves with their windsurfing board! Chrissi Akti (the Golden Coast) has been awarded the European Union's blue flag.

Pounta (17 min)

Pounta is famous for windsurfing! People from all over the world are coming for watersports there. It is a world class kiteboarding training spot all year round. With a long shallow-watered shoreline and sandy bottom, perfect side shore wind conditions kitesurfers and windsurfers.

Folklore Art Museum

Last but not least, in Aliki you can visit a very special Folklore Art Museum of Cycladic Civilization. The visitor can admire the miniatures of the Cycladic Tradition into a beautiful garden full of olive trees, amarants and woodpines.
